Weighing 1 to 1.2 kilograms and all equipped with wifi capability; Productivity like office applications will somehow be a bit too much for a system with a small screen, an entry level processor and memory limited up to 2GB only. Although such application will run - instant results as what's expected would be a far fetch reality over notebooks and desktops. (pero pwede na - with rolling eye balls).
Notebooks - Mobility, Connectivity and a little bit of Productivity; Memory can be reconfigured up to 4GB and screen sizes are from 12,13,14,15,and 17 inches and wide. Processor's are at a higher clock speed and Intel's newest I-Series are defining a new era of computing with its CPU-GPU fusion technology - way to go for people on the go.
Desktop PC's - Connectivity and Productivity, will always be the power that can meet everyones requirements; Mobility included (LAN Party anyone?) Having most boards with up to 4GB and some configurable with up to 16GB. Higher clock speed processors and expandable storage and a variety of graphics engines(Video Cards) to partner with. Connectivity, Productivity and even mobility for a desktop system is all power in any configuration. Knowing the application you need to run your setup will always be the key to getting the right machine - not to mention overclocking.
